    Nihao (Hello)! welcome to the capital of China - Beijing. After arriving at Beijing Capital International Airport / Daxing International Airport, your exclusive English-speaking guide and driver from Easy Tour China will be waiting for you at the airport. After driving to your hotel, your guide will assist with the check-in process.

    You and your children can now take a rest and relieve the fatigue caused by the long flight. If it is early and you are interested, you can freely explore the surrounding area of your hotel to experience the atmosphere of Beijing and adapt to the time difference.

    After a good sleep, have breakfast at the hotel and start your Beijing city tour. Head to The National Center (NCPA) for a photo stop. This water-filled dome building shows you the perfect blend of modern architecture and ancient city charm - one of Beijing's unique features.

    Then, visit Tian'anmen Square, which is filled with historical buildings from the founding of the People's Republic of China. You can get a preliminary understanding of the historical background of China. Walk into the largest and most intact ancient palace complex in the world - the Palace Museum (the Forbidden City) - it's like a huge maze. Your guide will explain to you and your children about the previous lives of emperors, princes, princesses, court etiquette and the wisdom of ancient Chinese architecture - history comes alive.

    In the afternoon, you will learn about another aspect of Beijing - the life of ordinary families. You will delve into the traditional residential areas of Beijing - the old Beijing hutong alleys. Children will enjoy riding rickshaws and traveling through the winding ancient alleys, experiencing the authentic urban life. When you enter a local resident's home, it's time to get hands-on and experience traditional Chinese art! Based on your and your child's interests, choose to learn knot weaving, paper cutting or Peking Opera mask painting.

    Beijing Imperial Palace

    Universal Studios Beijing - a world-class theme park - will open up the most anticipated day for kids in Beijing. The exciting rides, including Transformers: Metrobase, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Jurassic World Isla Nublar, Kung Fu Panda Land of Awesomeness, and Minion Land, will bring endless joy and laughter to the children. Parents can also take breaks from time to time.

    Universal Studio Beijing

    Today was the highlight of your China family trip - the Great Wall tour. After a 1.5-hour drive, arrive at the foot of the Mutianyu Great Wall - the most kid-friendly section of the Wall. Take the cable car to the top easily and had a panoramic view of the mountains from the wall, learning about the history of the Great Wall - as an ancient battlefield for about 2,000 years. The kids will learn about how the Great Wall was built and the ancient military wisdom through the interesting questions posed by the tour guide, such as how long is the Great Wall and how many bricks are there.

    Lunchtime arrived, and enjoy a picnic - at a beacon tower of the Great Wall. It will a precious and unforgettable family memory. After the learning session, descend the mountain with the toboggan slide, which is thrilling and fun, and is one of the children's favorite activities.

    In the afternoon, immerse in the modern art, as you visit the 798 Art District, Beijing's most creative art district, transformed from the old factories of the previous century. Discover graffiti walls, creative sculptures, art galleries and unique coffee shops.  

    Optional: Take a night cruise on Liangmahe River to enjoy the stunning night views of Beijing.

    Mutianyu Great Wall

    In the morning, get to the Temple of Heaven, where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties offered sacrifices to heaven and prayed for a bountiful harvest. Under the guidance of our tour guide, parents and children will learn about the mysteries of buildings such as the "Circular Altar" and the "Echo Wall". Now this place is a public park where children can run freely and play, and locals can be seen exercising, practicing Tai Chi, playing chess and dancing.

    Then head to the Qianmen Daguaren Food Street to taste authentic Beijing snacks, such as fried noodle soup, candy apples, bean juice, and jujube dumplings. Our tour guide will choose clean stalls and shops for you, so you don't have to worry about hygiene conditions.

    In the afternoon, embark on a high-speed train journey to the international metropolis - Shanghai, experiencing the speed and comfort of China's high-speed rail. This marks the start of a new destination in your family tour of China. After arriving, be met by your Shanghai local guide, and check into your hotel to rest.

    Discover the vibrant cosmopolitan Shanghai’s history, traditions, arts, and stories. Start by visiting Yu Garden, where you can admire the elegant Chinese garden art, transforming this small garden into a delicate maze. Right next to the garden is the Shanghai Town God Temple area. Wander around and taste Shanghai snacks, and purchase unique souvenirs if you like.

    After lunch, head to Xintiandi, where traditional Shikumen architecture combines with modern commerce. Then, walk along People's Square and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, lined with numerous iconic buildings, both current and historical.

    In the evening, arrive at the Bund, to further understand the history of Shanghai - how it became the financial center of Asia today. Here you can look out the magnificent skyline along the Huangpu River, and the skyscraper cluster of Lujiazui. Children will also understand the achievements of China's modern development.

    How excited? Ascending to the sightseeing floor of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower at 263 meters, you can overlook the entire Shanghai city. Compared to visiting the Urban Planning Museum, children can have a more intuitive understanding of Shanghai's urban planning and geographical layout.

    Then, your family will have fun at the Shanghai Ocean Aquarium (SOA), which is highlighted by the 155-meter, 270-degree tunnel and Underwater Escalator. Children will feel as if they are in an underwater world, surrounded by marine creatures such as sharks, penguins, and sea turtles.

    In the afternoon, it's your family's free time. We suggest that you go shopping at the Disney store under the Oriental Pearl Tower, or head to the Tianzifang Cultural and Creative District to enjoy coffee or take a stroll.

    Optional: ERA acrobatic show - The stunning visual effects will entertain the whole family.
